In the “stairstep” of the photo above, the children are (from left to right):Jeff, Mark, Brenda, Regina, and Rod Pisani – all children of Herman and Carmel Pisani. This is one of the acts who came to the circus world by way of Cassidy’s Dance Studio in Ohio. We first worked with them on the first year of the Royal Ranch Circus – I think about 1970. Worked with them off and on for various shows for several years afterward. As the children grew and reached adulthood they variously went off to college, married, and went their ways. When the oldest, Rod, left the act, the father Herman, stepped in and took his place. They were a very nice family – all good people. I talked with Herman several months ago – he said all the kids were doing well.
