Love your website…..I knew Dolly Jacobs and her family in the 50’s. Stayed in touch with her son Terrell Jacobs Jr. (Punch) until his death in Feb. 2008. Do you know the names of the elephants in this photo? When I knew her she had three, Modoc, Judy and Dumbo
I knew Dolly Jacobs as a young child as she fostered me in her circus. She handmade my costumes and taught me how to present myself. She was gracious and talented and kind and humourous and more… Modoc was an exceptional elephant and very wise ah the stories I shall tell some day…
Punch and Judy Jacobs were my playmates in Robinsdale, Minn. in the 40s and 50s. I’m so sorry to hear that Pucnh died. Do you know if I can reach Judy?
