Gibbs Trained Elephants

I never met or worked with Bobby Gibbs, but my cousin Gary Henry and his wife Zoeanna said that he was a great guy and that’s enough for me. I found this picture in my collection of photos so I published it for you to see. Perhaps one of these days I will have the opportunity to meet Mr. Gibbs. 5/31/09. Today I found out from Judy Jacobs that Bobby Gibbs is no longer with us, I am about three years to late in knowing this fact.

Hello Ivan, Thanks for the pictures and nice words on my brother Bobby. He is a American Circus Legend and is missed by many. We toured with you and your Dad on the Castle Show. Gary is like a brother to me we have been thru a lot togeather in our circus days. Gary is one tough guy with what he has been thru with is health. I live in Las Vegas now and out of the circus biz but still follow all my old friends thru all the great blogs. I found your on Buckles Blog. Thanks for a very nice blog. Casey Gibbs

Is Dorey the elephant from king royal circus at Bobby Gibbs? If not were is now?
bobby gibbs is buried in sycamore cemetery in millermissouri just down the road from my house.
