Yes, I agree this is Betty. She did the most beautiful double I’ve seen. They have to be working at least at 40 feet, when flying acts looked like something. RBBB cut a lot of the thrill out of them when they brought their riggings down to 30 feet, upon the 1957 conversion to buildings.
During this time, Harold Alzana kept his high wire at 40 feet, and continued to prove what a star he was. Almost overnight, it seemed, high wire acts cut down to 30 feet, and some even to 20, but never Alzana’s.
