Jungle Sideshow 1

I don’t know this to be a fact, but I think this show front belongs to Bobby Reynolds. I remember seeing it at the Phoenix State Fair in the late 1990’s. I also remember that someone took exception to the use of the phase “Giant Monster Rats”saying it was misleading and untrue. They said that the animals inside the exhibitions on display were not rats, but were Capybaras which is indeed a huge rodent that comes from South America. Well, to make a long story short, Bobby was closed down for a time but later changed the banners to Capybara Killer from South America and went on to reopen. Bobby always had an angle, and I write this with all due respect to Bobby Reynolds. I first met Bobby in 1958 and have been his friend since then and have booked his shows on a few fairs that I have produced.

Was on the Road with Bobby’s shows in the Early mid 70’s and the rat show, and miniature horse were both the back of a pickup with foldout panels instead of traditional Banner line.
The 2 headed baby was the back of a bigger truck with foldouts and he had banners also.
In those days he was also running the full sideshow with multiple blowoffs, and had the Thrillssphere with full blown banner line. it was also anchored by a semi trailer where the projector room was and the inflated tent, the revolving doors, and banner lines all anchored off the truck.
