Paul Jung is the clown that was on the Kellogg’s boxes. I believe that he was on the Ringling Barnum & Bailey show at the time he did this ad,

Lou Jacobs was also featured in the Kellogg’s ads. Note that a piece of cereal and part of their logo was imposed on the portrait. If you wanted to cut out the clown’s face, you also took part of their ad with you. Both clowns got name credit. Indeed, RBBB walk-arounds had clowns carrying promotionals, from giant cereal boxes, to Jell-O ads, etc., and one hapless clown wore a big French’s mustard jar. As for pay, grumbling in the dressing room was that they either didn’t see a dime for working the circus tie-ins, or it was so low it was insulting. This is when they were referred to the Generally Useful clause in their contracts.
