Ray Chandler

This is Ray Chandler when he first started out in the business in 1952. Before 1950 he was a manager of the Fox movie theater in Bakersfield, Calif.

WOW. What a great series. This is the “Greatest Show On Earth”. Once again, you have connected the dots and filled in the blanks. By giving credit, long over due, to one of the finest animal people, great performer, and trainer. Ray Chandler is and was the Best of the Best. This recognition, for all he did, confirms he is a LEGEND which will out live us all. His legacy lives on in the hearts, minds, and memories of those who were fortunate to know him. His work speaks to what a fine person he was. Thank you, Janice for sharing these wonderful photos and experiences. You have shined a light on a great Man. I can hear the applause, a standing ovation, see the flowers. It is so nice to take time to stop and smell the Roses, God Creator has giving us.
