P.T.Barnum Part #2
Posted By thecircusblog on December 13, 2012
The following posts of P.T. Barnum presents a problem in my being able to explain what type of medium they are. A few are live photos others are lithographs done in ink or in pencil scratching. In the collection of negatives that I have I ran across 30 or more of P.T. Barnum’s illustrations. After I made positive pictures it seemed to me that they may have been exhibited in his American museum in New York? It is quite possible before the museum was totally destroyed by fire, someone took photos of this art work. Perhaps there is a person that can shade some light on this wonderful piece of history.
