I do not have the year when this photo was taken but it has to be sometime in the 1930’s. Most of these repertoire shows ended in the 1940’s.
Note on the side of the semi trailers Players.

Tent is a 60′ with two 30′ s and a dramatic, square, end. It seated over a 1,000 with chairs and blues. It was purchased from The United States Tent and Awning Co. in 1925. Three trucks and two scenery trailers were bought about the same time. You can see that trucks 3 and 5 are in the photo. Dad also always had two or three cars as actors “joined on wire” and arrived by train. Actors Equity actors received “on and off” money and season transportation was provided.
