Caravan
Posted By thecircusblog on November 2, 2012
Randy Runyon a few days ago sent this wonderful old photo of a caravan. I have seen this type of wagon before. This style of wagon was popular on European circuses in the 1800’s and early 1900’s. there were also a few in this country. Some call them Gypsy wagons, others sheep herders wagon. I get the feeling that this wagon may have been built by a studio for a movie and was later sold to a private party. It’s location now is at Sand Cyn, five miles from the Walt Disney Ranch, California. I will try to get some more info from Randy.
