Buffalo Bill Performer #9
Posted By thecircusblog on September 16, 2012
First and foremost I want to thank Jackie Knupp for sending me this article. Jackie along with many others know how important the native American people are to me.The Buffalo Bill Cody Wild West Show set the stage for the circuses and our heritage of the American old west. Every circus that I know of had an after show dedicated to cowboys and Native Americana. Even movie star cowboys were featured in the center ring and many went on to own circuses themselves. Thanks to Buffalo Bill because of what he created and it is still popular to this day. The wild west lives on and people like Albert Afraid Of Hawk in his own, small way played a very big part.
I posted your comment Jackie.
