Gollmar Bros Circus band, photo taken in 1907.
I want to thank John Shepherd for his informative comment.
The top photo came from Chuck Finley. He wrote that this photo was used as a post card.
It is obvious that these photos are different from each other.

The band appears to include: 3 percussionists, 4 clarinetists, 1 soprano saxophonist, 4 cornetists, 2 french horniists, 4 euphonium players and 1 trombonist. Today, I’d assume the clarinetists and soprano saxiphonist might also “double” on one or more versions of the saxophone. Is that assumption valid for 1915?
The 1907 image of the Gollmar Bros. Circus Band is one of two similar 1907 images. The one on the Blog shows 19 musicians. Mine is a much wider view, including the horse, and shows 23 musicians. Is it possible that there were 2 bands, as the only musician that seems to appear in both images is the man in center front (conductor?). Mine is a real photo postcard with a message confirming it is the Gollmar Bros. Band and is being sent by a member of the band P. Thondsen or Thordsen (sp?) used July 4 1907 from PARK??? ND.
