Photo taken during circus parade 1917 Louisville, Ky. There is one more photo like this one later into the circus blog. I just discovered this second photo and thought I should post this one as well. The person on the horse in both of these photos is quite ridged. It leads me to wonder if the person is a manikin?…………..The wagon is called “Our Country”. I think that it would be appropriate at this day and age, to have our circuses to be a little more patriotic.
