Benny & Betty Fox

Benny had an attitude of a lion. I never knew anyone like him, never negative and always on the go. In the center is Betty, the wife of Benny glad handing one of the Shriner’s. The other ladies performers names are unknown to me.
Thank you for your comment Randy. Benny Fox never worked at Jungleland ever. I can see a resemblance to Ben Ben the person you and I know.
Great comment John, My family worked many of the military shows that Benny produced.

Ivan, Is it possible that Benny Fox is the same as ‘Uncle Benny’ who was the butcher at the slaughter house at Jungleland? I have studied this photo and I am not sure. Uncle Benny used to set cow magnets on a shelf at the slaughter house so I collected several of them. I am sure you know a lot of stuff you can do with magnets, even a flea circus. Thanks again for some great memories.
Benny was not an acrobat or aerialist but he created the adagio act on a small pedestal high in the air and with the pretty and talented Betty it was a sensation. He was an emprisario and produced major entertainment army camp shows, etc. during the war with high cliber acts. He was quite a character.
I am looking for info. on Benny Fox. He lived in Arkansas. He was also a publisher of stories. Do you have any info?
Betty was my aunt and she was not married to Benny. He was married to someone else.
My brother and I helped Benny and Betty set up the pole when they were staying on Beach Blvd in Anahiem Ca.Fantastic people. Absolutely incredible act they performed on a round platform about 18 inches around.
