    Hello Ivan,

I’m sure you probably won’t remember me, but I sure remember you. I grew up on the Siebrand show, from about 1957 to 1967. My dad was Red Horner, and had the diggers on the show. Looking at the pictures you have on your site really brought back memories. I remember Pancho (although if my memory serves, he hated being called that), Ray and Yolanda, and their son Michelle. I worked in the novelty stand with Danny Duval blowing up helium balloons. It seems he had a daugher, although I can’t remember her name (Sandy, maybe) that I had the biggest crush on. I have very fond memories of that time in my life.

I think I have a few pictures of the show, if you would like them. I know I have some pictures of the Carters; you must remember Debbie and Denise; Peter Siebrand and his Mom and Dad, as well as Don and Margaret Hanna. I think I might even have a picture of PW Siebrand. Let me know if you would like them.

You had a picture of a sway pole act you couldn’t identity. I don’t know if it’s the same act, but Kayletta did sway pole that broke away at the end of the act. The pole in your picture looks much taller, however.

    Best regards,

    David Horner

Hello, my great uncle, John R.W. Poore did a sway pole act in that time. It could be him

The Great Ben Mouton was in his 80’s when he worked at Red Lerille’s Gym in Lafayette, LA in 1970. He was a sway pole expert and performed in circus’s. Red’s Gym in still going strong in Lafayette and Red is alive-he knows more about Ben Mouton.
