Denver Harmom’s Chimps

This is where my chimp career started in 1952. Denver and his wife Josie were getting at the age where the chimps became difficult to handle. Josie called Dad for help and it led to my inheriting three chimps…..Bongie, Sailor, and Cheeta. Cheeta had worked in the Tarzan movies prior to this. Added to the chimps that Dad & I already owned, we ended up with a large chimp act.
