Without a doubt Mom was the driving force behind ‘the clown’. From Chuckos conception to retirement she insisted the character be portrayed in a manner that would be respected and admired by ‘the young and the young at heart’. After Dad retired from clowning she dedicated over 20 years to authoring the book,”Are Clowns Hatched?” to be sure their life and adventures would be documented in a way that could be enjoyed by people that wanted to know about clowning. Her creativity and devotion was beyond belief.
I hope the Joy that Chucko has brought to this world will be long remembered by those who enjoyed the antics of the clown that was once titled,”The most beautiful Clown in Hollywood”. As was Dads motto, “May Everyday be as Happy as Your Birthday”.
