It all had to be sold and Jungleland’s old competition was there to buy it. I believe the elephant in this photo is “Babe” who later was sold to Gene Holter.

That was a sad day. My childhood playground was gone. It was the best part of my life. I grew up around some of greatest animal men in the business. Your family included Ivan. I wish we could go back in time.
