Robbins Bros Circus #6

These coaches were put on flat car. The coaches were used for the performers and working men. I am trying to figure out why they put the coaches on flat beds… I can only guess that the undercarriages of the coaches became bad over time and this was a good solution.

    Look REAL CLOSE, the coaches are sitting on another set of tracks, they are NOT on the flats.

    This is taken in Lancaster, MO. at the Wm. P. Hall tracks about 1933/1934. If I remember right, the original photo was taken by Buckles mother. Some of these flats went to the 1935 Cole Bros. Circus.
