Elmer Hogan was a close friend of Allen King. Allen was a pretty popular person not just because of his being a circus lion trainer. He was personable and enjoyed meeting others who were from a different walk of life.

hey! this is my great grandfather! I heard a story once that my grandmother (Elmer’s daughter Elaine) grew up with a pet lion in the house! Now this makes sense! I always wondered how the story went. Great picture btw. Do you have any more?
