Ivan,Emmett Kelly had two wives.I do not know the details of either marriage or if maybe the first one ended in divorce or an untimely death.I researched it though since you asked for the information:
Elvira Gebhardt (m. 1955)
Eva Moore (m. 1923)

Emmett Kelly’s first wife also known as Eva.Their marriage ended in divorce due to Emmett preffering clowing rather than the aerial act that he and Eva had been performing.Eva later on married another fellow who was a clown and Emmett’s best friend JoJo.Emmett remarried in 1944 to an 18 year old girl named Mildred Richey who was an understudy in one of the other circus acts.The marriage only lasted a year and she ended up leaving him.In 1955 Kelley remarried once again to Elvira Gebhart and they remained together until Emmett’s death in 1979 from a heart attack in Sarasota,Florida
