Fred Reid was Henry Bros. ringmaster for two seasons in the late 1970’s. He also was the Phoenix, AZ Circus Fans Representative and greeted every circus that came into town.

When I was a kid on Culpepper, Red Johnson had Fred Reed build me a model circus for my birthday. I still have it set up in our living room 20 some years later. I have searched all over for a picture of him to go with the letter that came with it. Thanks.
Hello Casey…..I am happy that the Circus Blog made your day, Fred Reed was a good friend of mine visit the Circus again. Regards Ivan
i purchased 3 wooden oval plaques at a small shop in Tucson in the 1970’s of clowns that the shop owner told me a circus master had made of some of his favorite clowns. They were nicely constructed and colorfully painted, and they hung in each of my children’s rooms when they were little. I still have them. I remember I bought all she had because, at the time, i bought a lot of clowns. Fred Reed’s name is on each of the plaques.
