Ted DeWayne
Posted By thecircusblog on November 2, 2008
Ted had one of the finest teeter board acts in the country. He was the bottom man in his act. The other performers in his act were Paula and Russ Saunders and Ba Workmeister and others. Ted finally got his own circus after many years of hard work, he also got himself an elephant. Dad and I took the chimp act on Teds first season out. Read the wonderful comment.

Great site,…
I have been doing research on Ted DeWayne and his circus career,…
I have a few photos from his days before he had his own tent circus.
I would be willing to share if you would like.

Hey Tom…I am sure a few people think of Ted DeWayne as a father figure and I am on that list…I think I was Teds last topmounter in a series of pretty formidable characters. I remember a portland date, full house, some trick to 3hi teterboard and he fell forward holding us up and then slowly got to his feet. Brought down house…he was a giant of a person and loved the circus. My whole family loved Ted and he gave us all so much to grow on.
