He not only was a fine ventriloquist, but he had another talent. During World War Two as he entertained all over Europe, He did espionage for the US. Who would think that a ventriloquist could gather information for Uncle Sam? He did and it was vital information. After the war in 1945, Leonardo came to the States and continues hie profession as a fine ventriloquist. In December of 1946 is when we met him on a variety show in Los Angeles, Calif. George B. Hunt was the big agent at that time in Los Angeles and booked most of the winter dates. Senor Leonardo after a few years went back to his country Spain. We never heard nor saw him again. This photo is the only memory that I have of him.
