Here is another photo from the Capell Collection. This very well could be one of the acts on the Capell Circus. I was able to make out her last name only, Wood. If you know of this person, please inform me.
Doc Capell had his circus on the road for many years and of course he hired many acts, This is where a lot of these publicity photos come from. The Capell Family also performed in the show. When his three sons married, their wives began performing.
Later, Doc expanded his show with carnival rides. Eventually it became totally a carnival, and Bill Capell carried on with an even larger carnival, which then evolved into amusement parks – three to be exact.
