These are publicity photos of Phil and Bonnie Bonta. Phil was a member of an Arab tumbling troupe and also did an acrobatic and balancing act with his brother Benny in nightclub. After his marriage to Bonnie, they did perch and a balancing act. A fall from the perch in 1955 put Bonnie in a long period of recovery. Afterwards, they did a dog act and worked as clowns.
Here I go again, correcting myself. After I sent the earlier comment from my memory, I did some research and discovered that the fall from the perch happened in 1954.
