I use to help Bill with his ponies when I was a little girl. He gave me one of the hoops form his dog act. I still have it
My first professional and independant gig was the SFV Fair at Devonshire Downs. I worked with Bill and his Dog & Pony Circus in 1969. Wow,those ponies look similar to Don McLennon s. I Remember Bill as a very low key guy with a french beret. Also, a showmens showmen. I booked in with GM for the fair, Jimmy Woods, another chunk of history with a large family tree.
