This was a free headstand that Bongie performed. He was an amazing chimp and was so eager to learn. It got to the point where we had too many tricks in the act so we would change the routine every show. Siebrand Bros Circus 1955.

I’ve always wanted to play with chimps! In your experience, are they quick learners? I’d like to know more about the training process.

Tiffany………….. Chimps are quite smart maybe to smart. They sometimes will out think you. I can tell you this, while I was training them they were teaching me. IVAN
