My great grandfather was Buckskin Jim. I have pictures of him and my grandmother performing balancing acts when she was a small child.
My great grandfather was Buckskin Jim. I would like to hear from anyone with information about him. His last name was Velloquet. Thanks
Bill
Buckskin Jim was my great grandfather Theodore Veliquette’s brother.
I have an old autograph book with an autograph: “Buckskin Jim, Reno Nev June 1875” could this be your relative?
I did a story on Buckskin Jim for a newspaper I worked at. Dated 1-24-2002.
The Veliquettes live here in Antrim County. Jim is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery.
I enjoyed the history very much.
Just found a Buckskin Jim poster. I’d be very interested in the newspaper article. Please advise how to view it.I have a number of pictures of him and my great grandmother and my grandmother who were both in the show. Where is Antrim County? Thanks
Bill
