This is what I call papering! Thanks Dan for the great photo. I am quiet sure the circus blogers will enjoy it. I am guessing the photo was taken in the mid 1930’s. It reads on the posters the town they are playing,,,, Lynchburg.

My 1st cousin 2x removed and her husband were performers with Downie Bros. Circus: Aileen Gertrude Pea (b. 1910), wife of James Vernon West (1902-1962).
My grandma, born 1902 in Franklin County Indiana, was Aileen’s 1st cousin. Grandma claimed her father named her middle name Dorset because he liked the name so much after seeing attending the Dorset Bros. Circus.
Have you ever heard of the “Dorset Bros. Circus”? I have not been able to find them.
