William Morris II lives in Gibsonton Fla. and has a business named Elephant Encounter. He is the son of the owners of the Kelly-Morris.

Ivan – Besides Bill Morris, you could also contact Dot Kelly in Peru, Indiana, wife of Paul Kelly, the other half of the Kelley – Morris Show. Or their son, Eddie Kelley. Dot and Eddie both still live on the old Cole Bros winter quarters in Peru.
Hi Mr. Henry. I had an Uncle Bill Morris who was part of the Morris Troupe, an acrobatic act, in the mid to late thirties. He also owned a circus in the 50s but I was too young to remember the name of the circus. I am curious about the background of Bill Morris in the Kelly-Morris partnership. Thanks
My Family owned Kelly Morris Circus. Roy Morris is a first cousin. It was a small show that used telephone promotions. We had Blanche, Troby and Jewel as the main elephants. We also had Dinah that was leased out to the Hoxie show and she died there. Our show had two Liberty acts and my Dad played the organ music for the Acts. Those were the Days.

When I was a child, my dad owned Minnie’s Tavern at Matanza Beach, IL near Havana. The circus was our neighbor and I enjoyed watching Jo Bernie and her family practice. We took the circus dogs out on sleds in the river in the winter. We rode the circus ponies through the timer. Boy, what memories!
