Legend City

This is the lake front stage. It was the main stage at Legend City….where Wallace and Ladmoe performed every Sunday. We also presented small but professional rock and country western groups. The open air bleacher seated over 1000 people. The black drapery does not look so good in this photo as the wind was playing with it. Back stage were two dressing rooms that accommodated male and female artists. I wish I had a photo of the Legend City Saloon which was where the Mighty Midget and other single acts performed between our melodrama actors. We had a lot of good local amateur acts, pulse semi pros honing their talents. Every two weeks we would bring in a big professional act or promotion. Legend City only opened it’s doors in the evening and many nights would stay open till 2:am because of the heat in AZ. Of course in winter we would open much earlier.
