Tarzan

- Johnny Wiesmuller was not a circus performer but many a circus Trapeze aerialist doubled for him swinging thought the trees of Thousand Oaks, Calif. It was in this little town that many of the “Tarzan” movies were made. Johnny Wiesmuller was never hurt by any of the animals that he worked with, however there was a later Tarzan , Mike Henry, who was bitten in the chin by a chimp. It is said that he made some problems over it. He did not last to long as Tarzan needless to say. Oh yes no relation to ME.
