I just got this photo from a lady by the name of Dallas. Dallas lived not too far from Del Graham’s home in Tarzana, Calif. Photo has to be from the mid 1960’s.

The two photos of the Barnes circus came with good information, from Penny Schroder. There may be some questions on the photo dates 1935 or even earlier 1918 or so, because of the two Mack trucks dating these photos. It really is hard to say. There were other shows that played Gillette, WY. like Christy Bros 1917-1930, Hagenbeck Wallace 1930, Barny Bros,1936. I think maybe Bob Cline might be able to put a date on the Al G. Barnes photo here.

Al G. Barnes, Sept 1935? These two photos were sent to me from Penny Schroder, Gillette, WY. The far left wagon that is approaching the flatbed rails you can faintly see ” Al G. Barnes Circus.” You will have to put the photo shop and enlarge it, then it can be seen clearly.

The front gate of Lakemont Park looks better than ever. I see more greenery than what was there when we were there in the late 1980’s.

The famous “Leap the Dips”. This Roller Coaster is over 100 years old and I believe that the park operates it only on special days.
