I believe this was my grandfather’s sideshow. He would change from year to the next. It might be the same animal or what ever. The only thing that ever changed was the verbiage on the banner.

Try to set up a circus on any old pasture. These day you would draw a blank. I remember the time that people would help set up the show, just for a tree entrance ticket.

I am not sure of the name. It says on the bottom, Bollers Circus and a name I can not make out. the date Sept 9th 1925. Your help is needed here on the correct name, or if this one is correct.

This was my Grandmothers home after J.E. Henry passed away, 1945. Before then they lived on Garvey, Blvd, this was J.E’s show winter quarters. Town of El Monte, Calif. In this photo along the side of the house is our trailer and car. During the winter we stayed here making it easier to play the Christmas shows in Los Angles. It was also a good time to visit with family. Down the street a few blocks stayed Glen and Todd Henry, on a lot they had rented. Hap Henry lived in San Fernando valley. My aunt Bertha lived here too and took care of grandmother. A few years later my father bought the home next door, there we lived for 18 years. El Monte was at that time a fine place to live. Never a problem with animals no matter how many. The Henry’s had MANY!
