Close up of band wagon. Who ever shot this photo did a close up…. I used my photo shop to clean it up as best I could. These are the only two photos I have of the Luga Circus.

This hippo den was owned by The Great Wallace Circus. It was made by Sullivan & Eagle Works Peru, Indiana in the very early 1900’s. This photo came from the Bob Cline collection… Thanks Bob.

The image quality of this photo is bad but it was the best I could do considering the age of the negative. I have two photos of Cooper & Bailey both are intriguing and can make your mind wonder back to those old circus days.…………. Forgive my being a little too sentimental.

In the process of creating a positive photo, the negative fell totally apart because of it’s age. I still have all the portions of it. Perhaps one day there might be a way to repair and enhance the negative.

Another mystery photo… I believe that the truck under the semi is a Mack.
A great comment from John Herriott.
I want to thank those that though their comments are keeping our circus history alive and correct…… IVAN M.HENRY

I don’t mean to confuse you. The person on the horse is not Terrell. I believe this photo was taken when Terrell had his circus, around 1950. The exact date I am not too sure of.

From left to right: Fred Logan, Jean Jacobs and Terrell Jacobs. This photo may have been taken on the Terrell Jacobs circus.
An informative comment made by John Herriott.

Terrell Jacobs Circus calliope, 1950. The calliope was not steam. The man standing next to it was the musician. His name is unknown to me.
Another great comment revealing the name of this person. Comment from Doug Konkie.
I just found out that the man standing near the Calliope, is Harold Moore. My thanks to Arlan Kline for the comment.

Tommy Bentley, 1965. Tommy did his dog act and rode as well as managed. He also stepped in as Ring Master when owner Rudy Jacobe was away from the show.

I am trying to find out the name of this young man. He looks a little like Roger Smith who was a big cat trainer. This photo may have been taken when Bill Horne had the act Keller’s Killers. I do know that Roger was good friends with Horne.
IT IS NOT ROGER…………… Read comment by Roger Smith.
