These photos could have been taken on the Miller Circus or the Dales Circus in the late 1940’s. The photos came from the Tommy Bentley collection.

This is Robbins Bros steam calliope. It has out standing and large hand carving on the sides. Photo taken in 1931. You can actually see though the horn which would allow you to see the calliope pipes.
Informative comment by Bob Cline, please read.

These coaches were put on flat car. The coaches were used for the performers and working men. I am trying to figure out why they put the coaches on flat beds… I can only guess that the undercarriages of the coaches became bad over time and this was a good solution.
Jim Elliott.. You could be right on your comment. Photos can be deceiving. We might get another comment. We have another comment by Bob Cline.

Robbins Bros poster, 1938. It is said that this poster was the best one ever printed for the show. It seems in those days boasting about how large your circus was, was to indicate how large or how many railroad cars you had. As seen here in this poster. It must have meant something, I have seen it mentioned in other circus posters.

Robbins Bros polar bear wagon, 1938. I guess they stopped to get a cool one. I think this would be a great photo for the Coca Cola Corp. Perhaps I will email this photo to them and just see if I get a reaction.
