I have a date on this photo of 1937. I don’t know if the date is correct or not….. I will leave it up to Bob Cline to determine. This is a cage wagon with a middle separation.

Al G.Barnes cage wagon 1920. It is hard to see in this photo what animals are here. I think I previously posted this cage wagon in a parade exhibiting leopards.

This is another cage wagon 119 but this one has carved statues on the corners. This wagon maybe had been used for special animals. It definitely was used in parades. I wish I had a date on this wagon.

This wagon is carrying center poles for the big top. At the time of this photo, the load was going to the circus lot. Just maybe someone will know what city the show is playing. I am sorry for the lack of information on most of these photos. I would certainly provide more if I had it.

The photographer wrote on this photo’s negative envelope. The crowd gathered as the circus train pulled into town.

Loaded up and moving to the next town. I noticed a man siting on the flat bed car. His head is low and his arms are folded over his knees. As I gaze at him sitting there, I can’t help but wonder what is going though his mind. Maybe the same thing that went though my mind after a hard days work. Off to the next town and do it all over again.
