Mr. Whiteley was my great-great grandfather. My family has a few newspaper articles and photographs relating to the dog and pony show. Aside from training animals and working with the whip, he was also a master of the tight wire. I currently live a couple of miles from the Whiteley farmstead…home of Sparkles. 🙂
