Jungleland The End
Posted By thecircusblog on May 8, 2012
This is the main arena at Jungleland. All the seats are gone along with the shade screens that covered the audience. It most likely had to be demolished as it was all made of cement and steel. On each side of the arena were long rows of large cages where the lions and tigers were displayed. There also was a back tunnel that the cats could be shifted though to the arena for the different performances. During the day and evening, there was a performance every hour on the hour with different wild animals and trainers.

This picture really shows the skeleton of what was left when the dust settled. Alot of memories happened in this place, both Good and Bad, but they will live on in the mind and heart of this writer. Hopefully through the picture and comments posted here people can understand the ‘Rest of the Story’
I am reminded of the old saying,”The Dogs Barked and the Caravans Moved On”
