Jam Up

Posted By on July 24, 2011

The major ride ticket on the Siebrand show in the 1940,s was 15 and 20 cents. In the 1950’s it went to 25 cents and kiddie rides were at 15 cents. A average load of people on a Tilt A Whirl would gross about eight dollars every 15 minutes, maybe ten jam up. Time was important, get on and get them off, you had to gin the ride to make any money.

Hi Ivan, When did Seabrand go out of business. Girty has talked about being on that show before.
