We were playing at the Roaring 20’s a venue at the Hoyt Hotel Portland Oregon. I believe it was 1968? Our agent Cindy Bardine booked us in for six weeks. Clyde Beatty seen here with his hand upon the head of an Hippopotamus. I believe at that time he worked as a animal handier. I wonder if he ever thought that he would become a great animal trainer and own one of the largest circuses in America.
