It is foolish for anyone to think that we did not care and actually love our animals. They were our pride and joy. Not only will we miss them, but so will the circus audience.

Roger Smith took the time to a lash and send a twisted stock. The workmanship detail is perfect and the lash is the same type that Clyde Beatty used in his cat act. I can’t tell you how proud I am to now have this in my collection of circus memorabilia. Thanks again Roger.

There is something about a European circus. It seems to be a little more personable. As for myself, I always enjoyed performing close to the audience with my chimp act. This act would be very exciting to watch being fast with many aerial maneuvers. In the past I have seen a single cradle, but never a double. I am sure someone knows their name and where they are from. If so please inform me.

If anyone has a video of Henry’s Chimps, I would be grateful if you could send me a copy. In all the years of performing, we never took any ourselves, however I do know that many were. circus fans and performers did take some. Many thanks, Ivan
