Felix Morales #1

| November 17, 2011

These photos I have of Felix came from the Capell collection. It is very possible that Felix performed with the Capell Bros Circus in the late 1940’s. I do remember Bill Capell talking about Felix working on the outdoor dates that Doc Capell had then.

I am somewhat sure that is one of the outdoor dates that Doc Capell’s circus had. It was sometime in the late 1940’s that the show had a blow-down in the mid west. The show went without a big top for a few weeks while in repair.

Clyde Beatty

| November 11, 2011

This was a promotional photo hand out that advertised the 1960 Beatty Cole Bros show. There are those that talk about great cat trainers but they don’t come any better than this man nor of his showmanship…… the one and only Clyde Beatty.
