Bill Capell’s Calliope

  Another project of Bills was this white Calliope wagon. He had a talent for restoring old show wagons. He said it was his hobby. I believe he was keeping  circus history alive.

Bill’s Calliope

Bill Capell was always buying old circus equipment. He then would restore it, play with it for a while, as this was his hobby and he enjoyed every minute of it. Much of the show wagons were either sold or donated and then Bill would start all over again on a new project.

Bill’s Office Wagon

Ciruus Midway

The circus midway was always filled with popcorn, cotton candy and hot dogs.  This was the bread and butter of the circus, and to hold them on the midway longer there were side shows.
