La Fontain

La Fontain was their stage name. They are from the Canestrelli family, an Italian circus family. Tosca is on the right and Chi Chi is in the center. The last time we worked together was on the Hubert Castle Circus in the 60’s.

The Fontain Sister did a unsupported ladder act… all eyes were upon them as they performed it. Indeed it was a beautiful act.The last time I saw them was in 1966 with the Hubert Castle Show. My cousin Shirley Henry tells me that Chi Chi is with the Atayde Circus. As of 12-19-11.

Danny and Trina DuVal were on the Siebrand Bros. circus in the mid 1950’s. He was exceptionally strong hand balancer. He did a one finger stand with the smallest and most perfect gimmick I have ever seen. Those who understand hand balancing will appreciate this.
