The stage door of the Gammage theater in Tempe, Az. They didn’t have to go too far to get on stage. Sunday the 5th was their last day at Gammage…… now off to Dallas, Texas.

Taking the Wilson dogs act into the theater for an afternoon show. Joanne and PeeWee Pinson have put together a well trained dog troupe for this broadway show….. well trained dogs that get their ques from the wings of the stage.

Gil Wilson and his son Dime. Dime was about ten or eleven years old when this picture was taken. I am guessing that this photo was taken around 1931. The show that they were on is unknown….. perhaps someone can recognize the wagon in the background. The photograph was given to me by Joanne Wilson Pinson.

Gary Henry had a knack for announcing shows. He has a polite manner about himself but more importantly he knows the business, and if need be he can spot a performer doing a difficult trick or help a trainer in trouble. Photo of Gary on M and M Productions.
