It seems that these trucks were quite popular on the circuses. The Mack truck became a work horse and was used for just about everything. This photo was shot in 1938 but the Mack looks to be much older.

It says on the negative envelope of this photo, “air calliope”. I don’t believe so? I think it is a tableau cargo wagon. Bob Cline it’s up to you. Bob Cline says it is an air Calliope. Read his comment.

The # 9 wagon in this photo looks almost identical to the #10 wagon.Both these wagons were used for the lions or tigers. Here is something interesting. This is an animal cage wagon…… it looks similar to the #9 wagon. The difference that I see is the side carved scallops, also the white painted front. The photo of this wagon was shot in 1939.
