A couple of great kids. Ninety percent of their time was spent learning the business of performing. They succeeded in doing so and no matter what act they did, it was good. Photo taken in the early 1960’s on the Ted Dewayne circus.

Los Pinturas Locos, The Crazy Painters and they were crazy. A fast comical routine filled with funny frenzy. A little known fact….. Darryl Ferges perfected a complete summer salt on the trampoline with a pair of full size snow skies. Maybe one day I will fine a photo of this trick.

I first met Russ when he and Paula were doing the teeter board act with Ted DeWayne. Ted had one of the finest teeter board acts in the country. He was the bottom man in his act. The other performers in his act were Paula and Russ Saunders and Ba Workmeister and others.
