This was shot in Mexico. I can’t tell if it was their show or another. Raul is doing a backward somersault and his brother Pino is spotting the trick.

In all of the times that I saw Raul do this trick–back ward somersault from horse to horse–I never saw him miss it. That does not mean that he didn’t. I just never saw it. He most likely to this day is an excellent performer.

This ad was in the Sacramento Bee, July 12,1968. A personal note. I knew the Suarez family well and did many shows with them, also too include their circus in Mexico. I have nothing but nice things to say about this fine circus family.
